SANOG welcomes technical submissions grounded in operator practice. We prefer talks where the speaker has run the system in question and can speak to what worked, what broke, and what they'd do differently — not vendor pitches.

What we're looking for

Submission Topics

  • check_circle BGP, IS-IS, OSPF — routing operations and stability
  • check_circle IPv6 deployment, dual-stack operations, and migration
  • check_circle Internet Exchange Points (IXP) and peering policy
  • check_circle DNS operations, DNSSEC, and abuse handling
  • check_circle Network security, RPKI/ROA, route origin validation
  • check_circle Data center networking, 5G, and SDN
  • check_circle Network automation, observability, and operational tooling
  • check_circle Machine learning for network operations

Original work only. No marketing or product pitches. We will reject submissions where the speaker is selling something rather than sharing operational experience.
