About Thimpu

Thimphu is located at an altitude of about 2300 meters above sea level. Though most visitors do not have a problem adjusting to the high altitude, however if you are not used to it, then you might want to take the necessary steps.

Although SANOG is going to be held during the summer season, it should be noted that during windy and rainy days, the temperature can be as low as 15 C.
